About Read the Scripture Daily

I built Read the Scripture Daily to give students and believers of all ages a simple, quiet place to spend time in God's Word every day.

For almost two decades, I have had the privilege of volunteering with middle and high school students. In those years, I often watched kids want to read the Bible on their own, but get overwhelmed by where to start or how to make sense of what they read. I painstakingly spent many hours designing and building this website because I wanted to give them an easy, uncluttered path into the Scriptures.

At the heart of the site is the World English Bible, a faithful translation presented in clear, accessible language. Readers follow a one-year plan that walks through the whole Bible. It is designed to encourage a steady, sustainable habit rather than a rushed routine.

To help readers connect with the text, each day features Christ-centered questions centered on three steps: Look, Examine, and Walk. These prompts encourage students to observe what the passage actually says, understand how it reveals Jesus, and reflect on how to apply that truth to their daily lives. The goal is not just head knowledge, but a sincere walk with Christ.

Because everyone studies differently, the site includes a private online journal alongside printable pages you can take to the kitchen table or youth group. Everything here is free and open to anyone who wants to use it. My humble prayer is that this simple tool serves you well as you seek the Lord in His Word.
